Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is taking various steps on daily basis to improve the standards of the state. We are here again to tell all our readers that Yogi Adityanath is about to start a new scheme in the state. The upcoming scheme is named as the Annapurna Bhojnalaya Scheme. As the name suggests, the scheme is related to meet the food requirements of financial weaker sections of the state. Annapurna Bhojnalaya scheme is mainly a scheme to provide subsidized food to the poor people of the state.
Annapurna Bhojnalaya Scheme Uttar Pradesh
CM, Yogi Adityanath took this step after emulating the Amma Canteen, which is a perfect model for the subsidized food scheme in Tamil Nadu. So the Uttar Pradesh chief minister also decided to start such scheme in the state. Then he came up with a concept of opening a Annapurna Bhojnalaya scheme in Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme the poor and under – privileged people will food items at subsidized rates. The beneficiaries of the scheme will get 3 times nutritious meals i.e. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will also be available. The snacks / refreshments will be available for just Rs. 3 and the full meals will cost Rs. 5.
Annapurna Bhojnalaya Location in UP
For providing the subsidized food Annapurna Canteen will be opened in various cities of Uttar Pradesh. Till now the UP government has selected 4 cities where the Annapurna canteens will be opened. These cities are Lucknow, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur. The state government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to open around 275 canteens across the state. Imp. Points Of Annapurna Bhojnalaya Scheme Uttar Pradesh
- In the state capital Lucknow government has planned to open 28 Annapurna Canteens.
- In Kanpur city also, 28 canteens will be opened.
- At Ghaziabad 20 canteens are planned to be opened.
- At Gorakhpur only 18 canteens will be opened.
The total number of canteens to be opened under this project are 275. These canteens will approximately costs Rs. 153.59 crore. The canteens and the Annapurna Bhojanalya scheme will be implemented on 14 municipal corporations of Uttar Pradesh state. Annapurna Bhojnalaya Scheme Uttar Pradesh Menu
- In snacks, pakoda, tea, samosa and poha will be offered.
- In breakfast, idli, sambhar and paranthas will be available.
- Whereas in lunch and dinner, the proper meals will be served i.e. Rice, dal, chapati and seasonal vegetables.
To have the subsidized food in the Annapurna Canteens, the poor people will be provided with a token. The token so provided will be valid for one week. People will also be offered with plastic cards and these will be linked up with the Aadhar card of the respective candidate. Token and the plastic cards will be available on all the Annapurna Canteens. By the token and the plastic cards the poor people can take the benefits of the subsidized food.
This step is taken by the state government to make up with the daily food requirements of the poor people. The scheme will mainly include the laborers and economical weaker people. By the help of this scheme the poor people can have their full 3 meals at subsidized rates.
