What this scheme about:

The project is to provide 13000 flats by 2017. Out of which 3509 flats will be optioned for the middle-income group. Middle income group will be offered 2BHK flats. On the other side, Lower income group will be offered 1BHK flats. Janta Flats will also be offered to the lower income group.
The owner of the flat has a benefit to sell or keep the flat once they have bought it. There is no boundation for the flat owners. They can keep it or sell it as per there convenience.
Offers for 1BHK flats:
The flats offering by the authorities are those which has been capitulated by the winners in 2014. The people who won the flats in lucky draw in 2014 for 1BHK flats, has dropped their names from the list.
Delhi Development Authority decided to do the lucky draws and penalize the amount of registration. In case the winners drop or cancel the allotment for the flat there will be options. The options for the lucky draw winner can be either to buy the flat or to leave the registration fees.
How much is the Registration fees?
The registration fees for the Jnata and LIG flats which involve 1BHK flats will be RS 100000 (one lakh). The 2BHK flats registration fees will be Rs 2,00000 (two Lakh).
When will the flats be made?
The colonies will be cut down by September 2017- October 2017. The flats has been started to build. The unfinished work of flats will start around the same time September- October.

Applications forms for DDA Flats Scheme 2017:
The applications forms can be collected from the bank. Around 450 branches offering the service. Among which 5 private and 3 public sector across the country, application forms can be collected. The DDA Flats 2017 Scheme will be available for all the groups of society whether it is Higher Income group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG) or Lower Income Group (LIG). Along with it single room flats will also be available with Janta flats and EHS flats. For higher income group 79 flats will be available, for lower income group and single room flats 11,671 flats will be allotted, for middle income group 398 flats will be available, for EHD 563 flats will be available and for Janta flats 398 flats will be allotted.

The number of bank branches involved in this process are 99 branches of Bank of Baroda, 48 branches of Axis bank, 84 of IDBI bank, 29 branches of SBI, 50 branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank, 6 branches of HDFC bank and 28 branches of Central bank of India.

Meter, for MIG it will be 64.04 – 109.88 sq. Meter, for LIG and Single room it will be 28.34 – 52.63 sq. Meter, for Janta flats it will be 18.85 – 30.45 sq.
