Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched massive number of schemes for the benefit of the Indians. By the starting up the various schemes he wants to improve the country as a whole. The main improvement to be brought up in India is regarding poverty. In our country there are still numerous people who are living in poverty. Large number of people belongs to the BPL (Below Poverty Line) families. Some of them don’t even have the basic needs such as food, clothes and shelter. Government Provide Them LPG Under Ujjwala Plus Yojana 2017. To improve the living of such people PM, Modi has introduced various schemes. The scheme introduced by him are related to provide these poor people the basic necessities of livelihood. Some scheme are launched to provide houses, some are for job opportunities etc. Other Scheme of Modi Like Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana for Single Girl Child is also start few month back.

Along these scheme in 2016, a free gas connection scheme was also introduced by the PM. The scheme was known as the Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Plus Yojana. This scheme was officially launched in May 2016 with an objective of providing free LPG gas connection to all the women belonging to the BPL families. This scheme was a great success and many of the LPG gas connections were provided to the poor families. The subsidy was also provided in these LPG gas connections. Now the government of India is planning to update the scheme. In the further extent more benefits will be covered under this scheme.
Ujjwala Plus Yojana Application Form
This new scheme is named as the Ujjwala Plus scheme. Within a very short time period this scheme will be launched in the country. It is said that the official launch of this scheme will be done on the Independence Day (15th August, 2017). The announcement will be done by the PM, Modi on the Red Fort, New Delhi. Ujjwala Plus Yojana will be a subsidiary of the previous scheme. As we all known in rural areas people usually cook their food on fossil fuels or on fire. So with the help of this scheme now even the rural people will be able to cook food on LPG gas. This will help them to cook food easily and within a less time. In a certain way the scheme will make the life of the rural people a bit more easier.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Plus Scheme
The central government of India is also running a Give – it – Up campaign for the LPG consumers for giving up their subsidies. Whereas the subsidy amount given by the LPG consumers is being used to provide free LPG gas connection to the BPL families across the country. Under this Ujjwala Plus Yojana the LPG consumer who will give up their subsidy on LPG voluntarily will be asked to provide free LPG connection to the truly needy household. This time the government will also connect the common people and an opportunity will be given to bring free LPG connection for the poor people in any village they want.
The LPG connections are still limited in various states such as Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Gujarat. According to the previous schemes the beneficiaries and the benefits were limited. But now in “Ujjwala Plus Yojana” the government will add more targeted beneficiaries. The scheme is also giving an another opportunity to the common people to help out the needy in the best possible way. Thus in short we can say that the upcoming Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Plus scheme will bring out more benefits for the rural people and to the people belonging to the BPL families.
